MOTO M: What went wrong?
Moto M was a spectacular device that was badly underrated. This phone had everything that
Moto G4/G4 plus owners wished for, a full metal body, premium looks and spectacular finish, Awesome processor the snapdragon 625.(Read the full review here) What happened then?
The reason probably was too many options. All three phones launched were in same price range. Moto G offered similar specs with a lower price range.
Moto M also faced competition from its sibling ZUK that had lot better features at the same price point.
Let's get to the point.
MOTO M2 if it ever comes out after the tragedy of MOTO M should try to make itself more definite.
A phone with specifications better than MOTO G5 Plus but less than MOTO Z, keeping it away from this stupid competition. Actually, if planned MOTO M can effectively eliminate the need for having a "PLAY" model for MOTO Z. MOTO M can take the place of MOTO Z Play. With a cheaper price point and " MOTO MODS" capability this phone can become the most popular phone.
MOTO M 2 can have specs that could impact the market like having a SNAPDRAGON 821 processor. A headphone jack, and all the MOTO ACTIONS and features from MOTO G5/G5 plus.
Although the phone faces tough competition from the likes of ONE PLUS that has established itself quite well in ₹25000 to ₹35000 segment though the added capability of modularity can definitely lure the customer.
Replacing MOTO Z Play with MOTO M will also give this phone a sense of individuality rather than just being a lower version of a better phone.
Making customers more about this instead.
