It grew from a stage where only a few companies released phones to a stage where only a few companies do not (ex-Apple).
It resulted in confusion for the choice of the phone because most of the phones have similar specs and design, different ,what matters modifferent,each and every phone targets a specific set of people , well now it is up to us to figure which phone is going to meet your requirement.
So let us discuss latest and best phones (released in 2016 ).
I will talk about the phones which are particularly released this year with great specs . Please suggest any phone you feel I missed .
The phones are not ranked these are just suggestions as I said each phone has its target user base .
This phone is one of the best phones in this price segment , Le Eco shook the world with its Le 1 which was really a premium phone in the budget market !!
It has done it again with LeEco Le 2 which has an
octa core SnapDragon 652 SOC
(clocked at 1.8 GHZ ) which is the best mid range processor and sometimes even compared to their once flagship Snapdragon 820 SOC for its effective handling of tasks ,It has 3GB ram and Adreno 510 GPU which also makes it really good at games and lag free . The phone has a brilliant 5.5-inch display full HD, premium design (metal body). A 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera . The phone also has fingerprint scanner which company claims is really fast(takes only 0.15 seconds to unlock). A large screen phone from Lenovo at this price point with a gigantic screen size of 6.4 inch which is really good for media consumption and games . The phone has mediocre MT 8783 64 bit processor which clocks at 1.3 GHz (I feel it is the only drawback) which is coupled with a 3 GB ram which is good enough , The phone has a Mali T720 GPU which is just good enough at gaming . Even with a mediocre processor the phone performs fast and is lag free . The phone runs on android Marshmallow 6.0 . The phone has 13 MP dual camera setup at the back with many options . The phone has Dolby atmos which makes the audio much better.The phone has a 8 MP front camera which is really good for selfies . The phone has a battery of 4050 mAh . You get JBL earphones with this device in the box.

The latest budget smartphone from MOTO which has everything a normal smartphone user wants. The phone has a full HD 5.5-inch display which is protected by GORILLA GLASS 3 .The display is really good and has good viewing angles.The phone has a not so great Snapdragon 617 SOC which is clocked at 1.5 GHZ and is really snappy . The phone has Adreno 405 GPU which is good enough for day to day gaming. The phone for some reason lacks a compass sensor , but most of the time you won't notice the loss . The phone also a good enough battery 3000 mAh and is lasts about a day with medium usage . The phone feels snappy as it has 3 GB Ram (though 2 Gb is available I recommend 3 GB). The Phone has16 MP which is surprisingly a good camera at this price point and is can take some really good photos , laser autofocus and face detection autofocus are an icing on the cake . Though the phone initially experienced some heating issues, it is now been solved by the company through updates . The phone has 5MP wide angle front cam which makes it good for selfies.

The vibe serious was applauded for its feature filled VIBE K4 Note which had some really good specs at a really low price . The company tried doing it again with this phone too . The phone looks identical to the K4 in terms of design though K5 lacks dual speakers at the front , the phone though still has the DOLBY ATMOS which is a highlight for this phone . The phone has a Mediatek helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz coupled with a Mali T860MP2 GPU which is mediocre GPU coupled with one of the most famous Mediatek processors. The phone has full HD 5.5-inch display which has the great colour reproduction. The phone comes in 3GB and 4GB ram options both of which feel equally snappy and lag free. The phone lacks a GORILLA GLASS protection which should be a slight problem . Th phone has 3500 mAh battery which should easily last about a day . The phone THEATRE MAX technology. It has 13 MP camera at the back and 8 MP camera at the front which takes good photos in daylight conditions ,a slight noise is observed in low light conditions. The phone has a Snapdragon 410 processor which is old but a tested processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with an Adreno 306 GPU. The phone has an elegant design which reminds of GALAXY S6 and S7 .The phone has a 2GB ram which may feel less when compared to its opponents but believe me, the phone feels equally snappy and fast. Another phone with similar specs with slight changes J5 Prime was later released . The phone has an elder brother J7 with the larger display and some other changes .
Coolpad a growing company has made some spectacular phones and this phone is no less . The phone NOTE 3s was released in November 2016 and has really price tag available to buy from Snapdeal. The phone has a Snapdragon 410 processor which is clocked at 1.3 GHz . The phone has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The phone is excellent at this price point . The phone has a full metal body . The phone has 5.5 inch HD display . The phone feels good and easy to hold. The phone 3 GB ram and 32 GB storage . The packs a battery of 2500 mAh . The phone is available for 9999 at Snapdeal.
