Today let's talk about COOLPAD NOTE 5
This phone priced in the budget range and performs really good.

DESIGN: 

The phone has a metal back with plastic at the bottom and top as antenna lines. The phone has 5.5 inch IPS display on the front.The display is really vibrant and has good viewing angles. It has 2.5 D glass curved glass on top. The phone has capacitive buttons on the bottom which unfortunately are not backlit. We have few sensors and front can with the earpiece on the top. The phone has a 13MP camera at the back along with a finger print sensor. We also have a mic at the back for video recording. The phone weighs around 170 gm and feels solid and sturdy. The phone give a premium feel when held in hand.  The phone though made of metal is not very slippery. It has a 3.5mm jack on the top and micro-USB port at the bottom.Fingerprint sensor is among the fastest in this price range and also has some really helpfull gestures, this makes life easy.


HARDWARE:


The phone has a Snapdragon 617 processor(clocked at 1.5 GHZ) along with Adreno 405 GPU coupled with a 4GB ram. The phone performs really smooth and perfect for all day to day work.
The phone plays heavy games without a twitch and is the heating issue is almost 0. The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery and will easily last of about a day and a half even with heavy usage.
The phone has 2 options of charging, fast charging and intelligent charging, fast charging charges the phone in about 2 hours whereas the intelligent charging takes 3 hours but according to the company it increases the battery life. The phone has 32GB storage and is expandable up to 64 GB.


CAMERA:

The phone has a really good camera at the back the 13 MP ( f 2.2  aperture) camera takes good images, the colour reproduction is good, though the pictures may look bit saturated but they are pretty decent. The front 8 MP shooter takes really good selfies, both the cameras have a wide angle lens, this makes the selfie camera much better. Overall the camera performance is really good for the price point.


USER INTERFACE:

The user interface is pretty decent on the phone. The phone runs android marshmallow with their own COOL OS on top of it. The os looks like a mixture of IOS and Android. the UI is responsive and lag free and fluid. Though there are some minor things like positioning of similar settings in different place, the UI is really good.
