OPPO F1s VS VIVO V5: The Clash of Selfie Phones !!

These 2 phones were released in the same price range with same competitive specs.
So lets talk in detail about OPPO F1s vs VIVO V5. !!
Design :
Oppo F1s has a metal body and feels sturdy and nice to hold and makes the phone feel premium , where as Vivo has a all plastic (faux-metal) design that is not in my opinion appropriate for this price point so OPPO wins a point here. Both the phones has a lot in common with I Phone in terms of looks and body design. The phones look strikingly similar if you look at them.
DISPLAY:
Both Oppo and Vivo have a 5.5 inch display and is a 720 p display (I know 720 p feels too less for the price range).
Both the phones have a Gorilla glass protection although Oppo has version 4 and Vivo's Gorilla glass version is unclear. Both the display look good but Full HD would have been better.
INTERFACE:
Both the phones have customization on top of android. OppoF1s runs COLOR OS on top of android 5.1 which is a set back considering the fact that most of the other phones this year have android 6.0.
Vivo V5 runs android marshmallow with their FUNTOUCH 2.6 on top of it .So VIVO gets a point here
Hardware:
Both Vivo and Oppo for some reason decided to cut costs here because both of them run entry level Mediatek chipset MEDIATEK MT-6750 Octa core Chipset which is clocked at 1.5Ghz.
So it is one point each here. We get more ram in VIVO V5 here which 4 GB where as in OPPO F1s we only get 3 GB ram although we did not notice any difference in performance in everyday life and the chipset performed well enough if you are not a heavy user.
Camera:
Both the phones are selfie focused ,the front cam of Oppo is of 16 MP and that of Vivo is 20 MP both of them are really good and have selfie flash , VIVO has 20 MP camera size both having same f/2.0 aperture but the sensor size of Vivo makes it take better pics and moonlight flash is icing on the cake .
so VIVO gets a point here.
Rear camera of both the phones is nothing to talk about as both the cameras are not up to the mark how ever they performance is good enough if you want to take pictures for social media.One good thing about Oppo camera app is we get tons of customizations and UI feels almost that of a I phone , in manual mode you get to control everything from ISO to shutter speed which is a good thing.
Verdict :
Well Both the phones fare very well but their hardware is not up to the price mark but are really good if you are a person who takes lots of selfie and doesn't mind about the hardware and other things. Oppo F1s fingerprint sensor is blazingly fast and the company boasts that it only take 0.22 sec to unlock the phone. That is plus point for OPPO where as the VIVO has the latest android OS which has better security and popular doze mode included now it depends on personal choice .
