HONOR 8 ,A Flagship at a price you cant believe!!

UPDATE: HONOR 8 Gets nougat update via EMUI 5.0 rolling our now !!

HONOR 8 :

Well Welcome for another review on Techno Review !!
Well let us talk about Honor 8 .A surprisingly low priced phone from the company Huawei .

Design:

The phone has a fantastic design , a design that rivals that of Samsung S7 . It has a dual glass panel design and it sort of curves when it come to the side of the phone making this buttery smooth to hold.
The phone has a smaller 5.2 inch display. But is a really good option for the people looking to have a smaller and comfortable phone to be used for day to day tasks . The phone has a speaker at the bottom along with the charging point . The phone also a 3.5 mm headphone jack ( These days it became mandatory to mention this !).The phone has good buttons and they give good tactile feedback The phone has at the back has a round finger print sensor and a set of 2 cameras .
The phone looks very elegant and feels premium to hold. Though the glass panel is a fingerprint magnet , it can be very easily be cleaned with a microfiber cloth.
The phone has a USB C port and supports fast charging. The phone cannot be called a slim phone with 7.45 mm thickness. The phone has a comfortable weight of 153 gm.

Hardware :

Honor 8 has a OCTA CORE KIRIN 950 CPU and is said to be comparable to Snapdragon 820 the phone has a MALI-T880 GPU and is really good for gaming though I doubt it being future proof here . The also sports 4GB ram that makes all the tasks really smooth and polished.

Camera:

One of the noticeable feature is the presence of the dual camera on the back of the device.
The camera takes fantastic day light pictures , may not be the best camera but is surely giving the best ones a run . One of the two cameras is a Monochrome sensor and other one is color sensor giving the picture a perfect look.
The cameras record at full HD but lack optical stabilization and the software stabilizing isn't that great and could have been much better.
The cameras produce elegant pictures and nice color reproduction and due to the two lenses it is just more better
The camera app gives much more options like adjusting ISO and manual exposure and is really easy.

Display :

The display of HONOR 8 is smaller compared to recent flagships packs a good full HD display, Though it does not offer the best viewing angles but is really good for the price you get. The display has several setting and can change into the way you like (warm or cold )

User interface:

The phone has its own UI on top of android marshmallow and is called the EMUI 4.1 .This gives the phone a ton of new feature and modifications and is very user friendly the option range form changing the position of the on screen controls to many more the UI is highly optimized and the phone functions buttery smooth even in though having a layer over it . The company also said that there will be updates to the UI  for 2 years.

Battery:

This region cannot be called a strong  point for this though this phone sports 3000 mAh battery the screen on time was well below 4 hours and was not that promising though with  fast charging you can charge your phone fast enough but having a less batter is always a disadvantage. Hope the battery management can be made better with some update but this is surely gonna be a deal breaker for few people.

Conclusion:

The phone is really is good and has some good features the phone's main feature being the dual camera and can expect some really good pictures from that. The companies promise of updates is also a good thing for the phone .
The phone is available in 3 colors Blue (Sapphire Blue),Gold (Sunrise Gold) and Pearl White.
And can brought from here for blue.here for GOLD and here for pear white.
